Carolyn has recently begun performing as a solo act, in which she plays guitar and sings. Carolyn is available as a solo acoustic act for weddings, corporate events, private events and venue entertainment. "We were looking for an acoustic duo that was able to learn a few songs and play them at our wedding ceremony. We contacted a number of businesses but few were unable to accommodate our needs or perform on the special day because they were already booked. Carolyn was very easy to work with; she responded quickly to emails and even met up with us for a face-to-face discussion. She is a WAAPA graduate and has done a number of weddings and special events.
She was very well presented both at the meeting and the actual event, always acted professionally and was very accommodating to our needs. She has a lovely voice and her guitarist partner was also very good. Prior to the event, she was able to send us a sample of one of the songs she would be playing. This sounded great. On the special day, she was there early to set up and perform. Everything ran smoothly and she stayed on to entertain guests during drinks/canapés.
My guests were thoroughly impressed with her voice, performance and the way she carried herself. The amount she charged was also very reasonable for such an exceptional performance. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending her to anyone wishing to have a singer/guitarist duo for their wedding or special event. I’m so glad we decided to have Carolyn play at our wedding instead of having pre-recorded music play from a speaker."
